Multiple chemical sensitivity (MCS) involves many organs of our life (primarily the ball neurological, immune, respiratory, skin and / or muscle and dell'ossatura) and is characterized by several symptoms that occur when the chronically person comes into contact with different chemicals. Symptoms that appear with the MCS 

They are part of MCS symptoms of wheezing, sleep disturbance and difficulty concentrating, memory loss, headaches, nausea, stomach pain, chronic fatigue, pain in joints and muscles, conjunctivitis, mucosal inflammation, pain in the neck and poorly d 'ear or skin diseases. The MCS is also occasionally accompanied by a hypersensitivity not only smells, but also to noise, the bright light, warm or cold extremes, and exposure to electromagnetic fields. The MCS occurs more frequently in women than in men and can occur at any age, although starting in most cases from late adolescence into middle age.

Only those air purification systems that work with granular filtration media are able to provide effective filtration of chemicals aerial. In contrast, activated charcoal can filter out volatile organic compounds (VOCs), but not some semi-volatile (SVOCs) such as formaldehyde and inorganic chemicals such as hydrogen sulphate. Have the largest range of filtering those air purifiers that have both granular activated carbon and chemically active aluminum. The air purifiers containing a combination of granular activated carbon and zeolite do not have this advantage. The zeolite has been marketed by some manufacturers of air purifiers specifically for people who suffer from MCS. However, has not yet been proven scientifically based with no documentation that it is preferable to the activated carbon filters or other means of filtration for chemical substances.
